Petits Formats 2026-2027: et oeuvres sur papier des artistes de la galerie

Conceived as a true “artistic family reunion”, the exhibition offers an opportunity to revisit works by artists featured over the past year, to get a sneak peek at the artists who will be in the spotlight in 2027, and to rediscover works by artists from the gallery who, over the past two years, have not been featured in Rennes or at the art fairs in which we have participated.

The exhibition thus brings together a selection of small-format works and works on paper, many of which have never before been displayed on the gallery’s walls. The diversity of approaches, sensibilities, and practices creates a vibrant panorama of the art promoted by Oniris. Alongside the œ recently exhibited works, some offer a preview of upcoming exhibitions, while others allow visitors to rediscover artists whose work remains a part of the gallery’s history, even when they are not the subject of a solo exhibition.

More than just a seasonal exhibition, Small Formats and Works on Paper offers a journey through the world of the artists whom the gallery supports and champions throughout the year. Nearly thirty artists come together in a single space, creating a dialogue among their works that transcends generations, techniques, and artistic sensibilities.

This group exhibition aims above all to be warm, generous, and colorful. The small formats encourage connections, unexpected parallels, and dialogues between the works. They also offer a different way to enter the artists’ worlds, to view a familiar artistic approach in a new light, or to encounter for the first time a body of work yet to be discovered.

An exhibition as a moment of sharing, where the Oniris family gathers to close out the year and usher in the next.
