On the occasion of Vera Molnar's 90th birthday, a retrospective was dedicated to this pioneer of digital art in Germany.

From the late 1960s onwards, she worked continuously with computers, translating her hand-drawn sketches into basic shapes in programs she wrote herself, and incorporating a principle of creation that was central to her work: chance. In this way, she created series in which clear structures are modified by random disturbances.

The book “(Un)Ordnung. (Dés)Ordre” traces Vera Molnar's artistic development, ranging from her earliest works to her most recent creations.
