This book is a journey through the lesser-known and mostly unpublished works on paper by Philippe Cognée, from the early 1980s to the present day. Long overshadowed by his paintings, these graphic works nevertheless constitute an essential part of his artistic approach.

Brought together for the first time in a publication, these works, selected by the artist himself, offer a vast panorama of nearly thirty-five years of creation, structured into fifteen series using a variety of techniques. Presented in chronological order, they reveal the taste for experimentation and constant inventiveness that animate his work on paper.
