FRA : Elaboré à partir d’un projet de 1974, cette édition est mis en forme sur un support offrant des possibilités visuelles nouvelles. En effet, le papier calque détourne le problème éminemment lié à la tradition du livre dont le but a toujours été très logiquement de ne pas surimprimer les textes. Avec « Out of square« , plus de « fausse page » ni de « belle page », l’une étant l’autre, étant celle à venir et sur 5 à 6 pages… Avec la transparence du calque, toute hiérarchie est supprimée au profit d’un continuum offert aux aventures d’une figure géométrique: le carré.

ENG: Developed from a 1974 project, this edition is presented on a medium offering new visual possibilities. Indeed, tracing paper circumvents the problem eminently linked to the book tradition, whose aim has always been, quite logically, not to overprint texts. With “Out of square”, there's no more “false page” or “beautiful page”, one being the other, being the one to come and on 5 or 6 pages... With the transparency of tracing paper, all hierarchy is eliminated in favor of a continuum offered to the adventures of a geometric figure: the square.
