“Drifting Worlds” is the first monograph devoted to Brankica Žilović, tracing her creative journey over the past twenty years. It includes a preface by Christopher Yggdre and an interview with Maja Kolarić, director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. Christopher Yggdre discusses the Franco-Serbian artist's approach to cartography in its cathartic dimension.

Everything can be mapped: our real or imaginary territories, our material or immaterial places, our obstacles or desires, space or time, the infinitely large or the infinitely small. Today, some cartographers can be artists of connection, of attention, of tenderness, if I may say so. Brankica Žilović is one of those map artists who are also artists of connection. In a gesture of rare coherence, she has succeeded in linking the imaginary world of the map to that of intertwining. She weaves relational maps that are also sensitive maps.
