Rendez-vous à Saint-Briac 2025: A Special Focus on Vera Molnar's Screen Prints and Editions, Presented by Galerie Oniris

From Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1, 2025, Galerie Oniris is taking part in the 9th edition of Rendez-vous à Saint-Briac, a contemporary art trail along the Emerald Coast, held over the Ascension weekend. For this year's edition, Oniris presents a special and rarely exhibited selection of editions and screen prints by Vera Molnar at the Ancien Presbytère in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer.

For the 9th edition of Rendez-vous à Saint-Briac, Galerie Oniris invites visitors to discover a selection of works from Thursday, May 29 to Sunday, June 1, 2025.

For around ten years, the Festivart association has been organising contemporary art events in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, a charming seaside village near Dinard and Saint-Malo. These events contribute to creating new artistic momentum along the Emerald Coast, a region already renowned for its rich artistic heritage.

For its 9th edition, the Drawing and Artists' Editions Fair brings together around twenty galleries, art centres and cultural associations across various venues throughout the village.

On the occasion of the 2025 edition of this event dedicated to drawing and artists' editions, Galerie Oniris presents a special selection of editions and screen prints by Vera Molnar, offering visitors the opportunity to discover works that are rarely exhibited.

A Special Focus on Vera Molnar's Screen Prints and Editions

Galerie Oniris is showcasing a selection of editions and screen prints by Vera Molnar, a major figure in geometric abstraction and a pioneer of digital and generative art.

Born in Hungary in 1924, Vera Molnar developed an artistic practice based on the exploration of geometric forms, lines, squares and systematic variations. From the 1950s onwards, she explored the possibilities of visual structures, repetition and transformation, establishing a distinctive artistic language at the intersection of mathematical rigour and creative freedom.

Her screen prints and editions offer another perspective on her artistic research. Through sequences, variations and subtle transformations of shapes and colours, these works reveal the precision and inventiveness of her approach to composition.

This selection, featuring works that are rarely seen together, provides an opportunity to discover a particular aspect of Vera Molnar's work and to explore the diversity of her artistic practice.

Over four days, Saint-Briac-sur-Mer becomes a meeting place for contemporary art, inviting visitors to explore exhibitions and discover a wide range of artistic practices.

Located between Dinard and Saint-Malo, Saint-Briac-sur-Mer offers an exceptional setting for this encounter between art, heritage and the coastal landscape. The event contributes to the cultural vitality of the Emerald Coast and encourages exchanges between artists, galleries and visitors.
