French artist Nikolas Fouré was born in 1976
He lives in Rennes and teaches at ENSA Clermont-Ferrand

Nikolas Fouré's artistic practice encompasses sculpture, drawing and installation.
His research focuses on the environment, our environment: architectural, natural, social... concrete data that are gradually transformed into abstract forms, imagined and yet very much a product of reality.
In his works on paper, gestures are repeated, sometimes on a daily basis, giving rise to an almost obsessive seriality. The question of time comes to the fore when the accumulation of strokes on paper reveals the innumerable repetitions of the hand.

His artistic practice turns as much towards sculpture as drawing or installation.
