From March 18 to 21, 2027, Galerie Oniris will take part in the 20th edition of Drawing Now Paris, held at the Carreau du Temple in the Marais district of Paris. For its twelfth participation in this international contemporary drawing fair, Oniris presents a selection of works by three artists: Nikolas Fouré, featured in a special focus on the stand, Guillaume Moschini and Philippe Cognée. Through a selection of works on paper, this exhibition highlights three distinctive approaches to contemporary drawing and its artistic possibilities.
Galerie Oniris at Drawing Now Paris 2027: Three Artists Exploring Contemporary Drawing
Galerie Oniris invites you to Paris, to the Carreau du Temple, for the 20th edition of Drawing Now Paris, taking place from March 17 to 21, 2027.
Founded in 2007, Drawing Now Paris is Europe's first contemporary art fair exclusively dedicated to drawing. Every year, it brings together French and international galleries, showcasing the diversity of contemporary artistic practices and introducing visitors to the many forms and expressions of drawing.
In spring 2027, Galerie Oniris will participate in this major event for the twelfth time. This continued presence reflects its long-standing commitment to contemporary art and its interest in artists who explore and redefine the possibilities of drawing.
For this anniversary edition, Oniris presents a dialogue between works on paper by Nikolas Fouré, Guillaume Moschini and Philippe Cognée. Three artists whose artistic research approaches drawing through different yet complementary perspectives.
Featured in a special focus on the stand, Nikolas Fouré occupies a central place in this presentation. His works resonate with those of Guillaume Moschini and Philippe Cognée, creating a dialogue that highlights the richness and diversity of contemporary drawing.
Nikolas Fouré: A Special Focus on Contemporary Drawing
Artist featured in a special focus on Galerie Oniris's stand at Drawing Now Paris 2027.
For the 20th edition of Drawing Now Paris, Galerie Oniris is placing Nikolas Fouré in the spotlight with a selection of works on paper.
This presentation offers an opportunity to discover his artistic practice and explore the possibilities of drawing as a space for artistic research and experimentation.
Here, drawing becomes an independent field of expression, extending beyond its traditional role as a study or preparatory stage for another artwork. It becomes an autonomous creative space in which forms, gestures and artistic choices contribute fully to the development of an artistic language.
Through this special focus, Galerie Oniris aims to highlight the distinctive nature of Nikolas Fouré's artistic approach and the importance of drawing within his artistic practice.
The works presented on the stand invite visitors to take a closer look at the many possibilities offered by working on paper and at the diversity of contemporary drawing practices.
Guillaume Moschini: Drawing and Colour as Forms of Expression
The selection presented by Galerie Oniris at Drawing Now Paris 2027 also includes works on paper by Guillaume Moschini.
His work is rooted in a pictorial exploration in which colour plays an essential role. Through his works on paper, the artist explores the relationships between shapes, colours and composition, creating sensitive and vibrant visual compositions.
Drawing and working on paper provide privileged spaces for experimentation, allowing him to explore different artistic possibilities and renew the relationships between gesture, colour and image construction.
Guillaume Moschini's presence alongside Nikolas Fouré and Philippe Cognée enriches the dialogue proposed by Galerie Oniris around contemporary drawing practices.
Philippe Cognée: Another Approach to Drawing and the Image
An important figure in contemporary French painting, Philippe Cognée is also represented at Drawing Now Paris 2027 through a selection of works on paper.
His artistic practice notably explores the relationships between images, perception and the representation of reality. Through his distinctive pictorial approach, he develops a reflection on how images are constructed, transformed and interpreted by the viewer.
The presentation of his works on paper offers an opportunity to discover another dimension of his artistic practice and to explore the role of drawing in his artistic research.
By bringing Philippe Cognée together with Nikolas Fouré and Guillaume Moschini, Galerie Oniris creates an encounter between different artistic sensibilities and different ways of approaching drawing as an autonomous artistic practice.
Three Artists, Three Approaches to Contemporary Drawing
The presentation of Nikolas Fouré, Guillaume Moschini and Philippe Cognée on Galerie Oniris's stand at Drawing Now Paris 2027 highlights the diversity of contemporary drawing practices.
Featuring Nikolas Fouré in a special focus, alongside Guillaume Moschini and Philippe Cognée, this selection creates a dialogue between distinctive artistic worlds and complementary approaches to artistic research.
Here, drawing is considered far more than simply the act of making marks on paper. It becomes a space for formal experimentation, a field of reflection and an autonomous means of expression, capable of developing its own visual languages and engaging in dialogue with other artistic disciplines.
This presentation highlights the vitality of drawing in contemporary art and reflects Galerie Oniris's interest in artists who push beyond the traditional boundaries of artistic media.
